The Last and Final Cover for Remembering You

Well, after a long and heartbreaking thought process, I've decided to have one last go at a cover for REMEMBERING YOU. The nice thing about self-publishing is that I can change the cover any time I want to. So I am.

My first cover, (if you remember and if not here's a pic ) was okay. I mean, it wasn't bad, but it didn't have that WOW factor, you know. And I was still using my other name. My Regency fans weren't buying it.

Then we did this cover. I really liked this cover.
These pictures were supposed to represent Genna's
longing for "home". Alas, this didn't sell too many
copies either.

So now we come to the latest cover. And for what it's worth, I don't care who doesn't like it, I'm not changing it again. This is the last and final cover for REMEMBERING YOU and I LOVE it.

I know I shouldn't ask, but what do you think?

I really like the first cover. The second was a little "busy." The third is evocative. We must go with our instincts in this business! Roland

I think if you faded out and scratched the background to look like an old photo, but leave the girl in the red dress the way she is--like she was walking back into an old scene (which is the concept of your book), and made the edges rough, it would be even better! But this is pretty snazzy, too. :) hehehe

Roland -- My instincts have been way off in this genre, so I may not know what I'm doing.

Bridget -- I'm thinking that idea would really look cool for the paperback version. On a Kindle the green might make her look sea-sick.

Perhaps you should put it up for a vote? :)

Bridget -- Next week when you get back. I'll do it on Wednesday.

I love this new cover, the third one with the girl on the beach. I think it's the best of the three. Evocative.

Thanks Valerie. Covers are such a daunting task for me.
